Tele-consulting involves a combination of on-site and remote interactions to support a client through an implementation or upgrade project. The "on-site" activity will typically happen in the early stages of a project when a high level of personal interaction is required and also at critical review points throughout the project. The remote activity involves conference calls and remote access to the applications where this is possible.

The benefit to the client is the reduction in the overall consulting cost. Travel and living expenses are significantly reduced without any significant impact to the level of service being provided.
